All The Lost

All the three objects in the painting are the lost ones--the climbing rose was dug up this spring; the butterfly's dried body was found in my sunroom this summer; the cat, the first and one of the only two cats I ever had, was dead long ago. To memorialize these lost beauties, I brought them together in this painting.
