The Frog in My Jasmine's Saucer

It was one day in July, after a rain. We removed the jasmine pot and rests from its saucer to pour off the water. In the saucer we found a little frog—it must have gotten caught in the rain so it hid under my jasmine pot as a shelter. We took the saucer and walked toward the nearby pond. It stayed quietly; when the pond was about six feet away from us, without a sign, it leapt into the water, leaving us only with the ripples...
